Report a Complaint to PIPA

Inspection Bodies who are a member of PIPA are independent companies who have signed up to the PIPA testing scheme. This includes following the PIPA scheme rules and code of conduct.

PIPA operates a legally compliant complaints procedure following industry best practice.

PIPA can investigate concerns which relate to:

- A PIPA inspector

- A PIPA office member or PLG member

- A PIPA tagged inflatable device

Please email any PIPA concerns directly to info@pipa.org.uk

All complaints will be initially assessed against a threshold criteria, to establish whether PIPA is able to investigate. One part of this is considering whether there is sufficient evidence to investigate, or whether evidence is able to be obtained. This helps to ensure PIPA is able to use its resources effectively.

Please note - PIPA does not act as a complaint service, or as an ombudsman. Where PIPA opens an investigation, it is to uphold the integrity of the scheme due to breaches within the PIPA scheme rules.

How to report a complaint about unsafe inflatables not under the PIPA scheme:

Do you have a concern about poorly set up inflatables? Or unsafe practices?

Do you think there is a company in your area who are not complying with the regulations?

PIPA only has the power to be able to take action against those who fall under the PIPA scheme. If your complaint is about an inflatable, or people who set up inflatables, and they do not fall under the above types of concern, click the link below to find out more about how to raise your concern.
