After Toddler Playzones were included into the scheme, controllers asked for the addition of ball pits to the scheme. We are pleased we have been able to launch this in time for the 2026 season!

Ball pits (or Ball pools? You decide!) which can be tagged include:

-          Stand-a-lone ball pit type devices

-          Ball pits as part of a larger device

Due to agreed safety standards which do not allow the use of ball pits in places of access or egress, ball pits cannot be located in place of a step on an inflatable.

Remember – inspection of ball pits is not a new requirement. All devices used for commercial hire & reward fall under HSG175 and should be inspected. This addition helps PIPA move towards its 2035 vision of including all leisure inflatables under the scheme!
