Not all inflatable play devices are covered by the scheme.

• Devices classified as toys
• Devices designed for use in pools
• Privately owned devices not hired out for reward

Operators, manufacturers and designers of other inflatable play devices may be subject to the requirements and prohibitions placed upon them by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
